The opening carries the unmistakable impression of dry tea leaves: slightly bitter, tannic and gently aromatic with the feeling of tea just beginning to steep. There is no sugary freshness; instead, the “TEA” effect feels mature and almost dry with a faint smoky-green edge.
As it settles, Crassna oud begins to dominate. The wood feels warm, resinous and subtly fermented, revealing earthy sour sweetness beneath its darker woody character. The tea works beautifully here absorbing some of the oud’s heaviness while exaggerating its dry, polished facets.
Deeper into the wear, delicate apricot, suede and sour dried-fruit nuances appear giving the composition a softer texture without making it overtly fruity. A whisper of incense runs through the background, creating the sensation of warm agarwood smoke lingering in an old wooden room.
The drydown becomes increasingly intimate: aged wood, spent tea leaves, soft leather, resin and distant smoke. What remains on skin is not a conventional “tea perfume,” but something quieter and more atmospheric the impression of an old tea house where fine agarwood has been burned for decades.
