Bulgarian rose absolute at the core – not the bright, jammy top note, the dark resinous base that takes hours to arrive. Beneath it, agallochas imbued with Tonkin khus – hay fields, petrichor, wet earth, rain hitting stone. Castoreum at the edges, along with the subtle dark, leathery, faintly animalic tinge of labdanum with its cistus resin quality that gives off wafts akin to dried petals left overnight.
