There has been considerable confusion among collectors regarding the original Thaqeel oil and later generations. At the time this oil was sourced, ASQ staff confirmed that it originated from an early-generation stock that had been retained and aged in store for many years.
The fragrance opens as a smooth amalgamation of condensed complexity, reminiscent of a bouquet of flower buds resting among ripe, juicy fruits. As it develops, it evokes the image of a blooming lotus, unfolding layer by layer to reveal a rich honeyed heart. Notes of aged plums, intensified through drying and maturation, blend seamlessly with a silky, deep agarwood character.
