Mysore 1989
The jungles in Mysore must have been 30 years ago. They were full of wild aged, naturally grown pure untouched sandalwood trees. Mysore Sandalwood oil that was made from old sandalwood trees and specifically that was distilled in 1989.
Due to very prolonged aging it has a little hazy appearance. It smells almost like honey mixed with sandalwood oil. First sniff gives you a Honey sweet gormondish aroma not altering the DNA of Sandalwood. It has a particular aged creamy musky tone which is extremely pleasant to my nose, the muskyness is really beautiful.
